Tania Tanic is a senior executive in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence innovation, governance, and digital transformation, with more than 27 years of experience in major Canadian and international organizations, particularly in financial services, public investment, technology, and consulting.

A CPA and certified corporate director, she holds an Executive MBA, a master’s degree in Management, a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, and an Executive Certificate in Cybersecurity from Harvard University. She combines strategic vision, strong governance discipline, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of business challenges.

Founder and CEO of BrainStorm CyberRisk, she advises executives, boards of directors, and organizations on cyber risk management, compliance, crisis preparedness, and strengthening cyber resilience. She is also the creator of CYBERTACTIK™, an AI-powered cyber crisis simulation platform designed to help organizations train for decision-making, coordination, and response under pressure.

Engaged in the economic, technology, and community ecosystem, Tania serves on the Board of Directors of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Canada and mentors future women engineers. She is actively involved in promoting women’s leadership in technology, particularly through Women in Tech and DigiWomen. She also collaborates with the Global Data Innovation in TRUST Coalition, a community of experts in technology, cybersecurity, guardrails, privacy, and artificial intelligence.

A frequent speaker in Canada and internationally, Tania raises awareness among decision-makers on cyber resilience, responsible innovation, and digital governance. In 2025, she received one of the Caribbean Personality of Canada Awards. In April 2026, she was named one of the four finalists for the Artificial Intelligence Trophy at the Trophées des Français du Canada, sponsored by HEC Montréal.
