He is a member of the Board of Directors of Nortech Systems where he is the founding chair of the science & technology committee; President of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) New York Chapter board of directors, Chair of the NACD Technology and Governance Advisory Board; Chair of the Board of EMPOWER, and serves on the advisory boards of Limbik AI, NovaNorth AI, and Arctic Blue AI.  

Ryan is an adjunct professor of Artificial Intelligence and Brown University and the author of numerous articles on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, emerging technologies, governance, strategy and leadership.
