Rita leads AI governance for Booz Allen Hamilton's Commercial practice. She has helped Fortune 500 companies across industries design AI governance and data-driven decision-making, by developing tailored AI governance models, designing controls for emerging AI risks, and leading technical design for data platform implementations. Rita's focus is on AI-enabled risk environments, and control framework development to rationalize where AI deployments require mitigations and where AI safety practices should better align to industry leading practices.

Previously, Rita worked in the government, military, and economics domain with a cybersecurity lens and time spent in the MENA region. Rita holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and an M.A. in Economics from American University.
