Martyna Bildziukiewicz

Deputy Head of Division, European External Action Service

Martyna Bildziukiewicz is an expert instrategic communication and foreign information manipulation and interference(FIMI), with a proven track record in countering FIMI and disinformation andstrengthening societal resilience.

She currently serves as deputy head of divisionat the European External Action Service (E.E.A.S.), the diplomatic service ofthe European Union (E.U.), where she leads strategic communication effortstoward all regions outside the bloc.

Previously, she was a core member – and laterhead – of the E.U.’s East StratCom Task Force within the E.E.A.S., where shewas responsible for initiatives such as the EUvsDisinfo platform and forcountering Russian disinformation campaigns.

Earlier in her career, she workedat the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and served as spokesperson forPoland’s Permanent Representation to the E.U. She also has experience in thenongovernmental and media sectors.

She holds a Ph.D. in political science. In2024, she completed a second master’s degree focused on the application ofartificial intelligence in the public sector. Her thesis explored how A.I. canbe leveraged to counter FIMI and disinformation.
