Amit Sharma is a leader in digital identity, financial integrity, and emerging technologies, with 25 years of experience spanning financial markets, government service, regulatory oversight, and fintech innovation. He currently serves as Head of Global and Digital Strategy & Ecosystem Growth for IDEMIA Public Security, leveraging expertise across major institutions and startups, including Mitsubishi UFJ Securities, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, RANE, Command Global Services, and FinClusive, a regulatory technology company which he founded enabling financial crimes compliance (FCC) solutions with embedded modernized identity solutioning applicable to traditional banking and payments as well as modern fintech applications, decentralized finance and web-3 services.

A former senior Treasury official and regulator, Amit has helped shape global financial crimes compliance and economic security policies and works closely with international enterprises and global governments on modernized identity solutions and compliance frameworks for traditional finance, fintechs and digital asset services to a host of corporate and enterprise applications. He also contributes to IDEMIA's identity, biometrics, and AI-resilience solutions, helping counter fraud, deepfakes, and synthetic identities across highly regulated sectors. He is committed to bringing embedded, privacy enabled identity credentials that can be 're-claimed' and controlled by their owners as web-native applications grow and associated threat vectors continue to evolve that impact personal identity.

Amit serves on multiple boards and advisory groups, such as Kantara Initiative, the Center for Economic and Financial Power, the Digital Dollar Project, the Diplomatic Courier. He frequently speaks and teaches on digital identity, international security policy, financial inclusion, risk/regulatory compliance, and advanced web infrastructure, and has held adjunct, associate or visiting scholar roles at Georgetown, Yale, the Naval Post Graduate School, and Middlebury Institute of International Studies.
